My Resolutions for 2016

H A P P Y  N E W Y A R !!!

I spent my newyears' in Copenhagen with good friends and my fiancé. Therefore I haven't been able to post new updates, unfortunately. I had some posts planned for after Christmas, but I couldn't make it anymore to post them before departure. I will post them over January now, and hope you will still enjoy reading them! :) I am gonna make two posts about my Christmas holiday: One about my Christmas + a little haul of things I got - (I got a lot of presents but I don't like to brag about them, so I will only show a few of them on here) and one post about my time in Copenhagen.

For now, I will tell you about some of my newyear's resolutions. I've never managed to stick to my resolutions very long in the past years, lol - but let's give the 'New Year, New Me' bullshit mindset a try. I divided my resolutions in five different categories and will describe them shortly.

Health
* I am gonna do more muscle training.
* I am gonna be fit on my wedding. I don't specifically need to lose weight to fit in my dress, but I just want to be fit and strong on the big day.
* I am gonna have a candy and chocolate stop every other month, starting from monday 04-01.
* I am gonna freeze my fitness subscription for one or two months (I know it doesn't sound like a good resolution to freeze a fitness subscription) and find other ways to exercise, such as ice skating, tennis, running and more outdoor activities.

People/relationship
* I am gonna become more sociable and work on my social anxiety.
* I am gonna meet up with friends more.
* I am gonna marry my best friend, and plan our wedding.

Education
* I am gonna start an education in webdesign and photography.
* I am gonna take a course in photography before summer.
* I am gonna study Spanish at home.
* I am gonna become better at maths by doing a home study through Khan Academy.

Personal
* I am gonna be more thankful in all circumstances.
* I am gonna choose to react positive instead of giving in to my negative feelings towards other people or situations.
* I am gonna work on improving my self confidence.

Blog
* I am gonna improve my writing style and my English.
* I am gonna learn more about editing pictures and improving blog photography.
* I want to aim for 750 Twitter followers in 2016, and 100 Bloglovin followers.

What are your resolutions for 2016?

(Btw what do you think of my new profile picture? I took it with my new camera, but I think it's gonna be temporary. I just can't get the perfect profile picture, lol.)

  1. Happy New Year!
Can't wait to see your posts about your trips over Christmas :) I don't really set many resolutions just because I never tend to stick to them! Good for you for thinking of so many and hopefully with enough will power, I'm sure you'll do great!

  2. Ahah I always try the "new year new me" thing, sometimes it works, sometimes not so much.

Khan Academy is really helpful, and I love how there's practice as well! Good luck with learning more math, I hope everything goes well for you (:
