DAY 1 || November Blogchallenge

This is Day 1 from the November Blog Challenge -Let's get started!

About me, Ilse Daniëlle.
Ilse is my given name. Given by my parents. It is a German name, and I am not very unsatisfied with that. I like my name - it's quite unique, especially here in Norway. I once asked my mom what I would've been named as a girl if it wasn't for Ilse. She answered Daniëlle. That's when I decided to add that to my name. In the Netherlands it is quite difficult to get it added as an official second name - but here in Norway it's all quite a lot easier. I am planning on adding it right when I get married next year, as I also have to change my last name then, and then I can do it all together. I already changed my name on social media to get used to the idea.

What do you think about the name Ilse Daniëlle?

I am 22 years old, and will turn 23 on 22 december. I am engaged to Jan Tore, for more than a year now. We expect to get married spring 2016. Jan Tore is Norwegian, and the reason why I live in Norway now. I moved about a year ago, and decided to stay here permanently - as I absolutely LOVE the country, and I could already speak Norwegian (which I learned in my exchange year when I was 18).

Some things I like to do in life are reading books, making food, dancing, playing piano and working on my blog. I'm a high sensitive person (HSP) which simply means that I am more sensitive to things that are normal for others. Sometimes A Lot more sensitive. I get easily overstimulated by crowds, loud noises and stressful situations - and I react more heavily on food and emotions than non-sensitive people do. This explains why I can sometimes be extremely tired and moody. If you'd like, I could write a blogpost on this topic wherein I can explain more about it. Leave a request below.

This picture I took a week ago, when I was in a café in Tønsberg with Jan Tore. It's a delicious Chai latte (my favourite!) and a piece of rhubarb cake. <3

Oh, don't forget to take a look at my cousin Nienke's blog, as she's doing this challenge as well!

    1. It's really nice to hear that you're interested in my blog too! I'll be posting some posts in English too during this challenge :) I hope to write only in English in the future, I don't have the courage to do so right now because I think my English less than average. But I'm working on that :D
