Questions To The Author #1

Inspired by a topic called 'Sunday Stealing' by one of my fellow bloggers from Swap-Bot. Every now and then I'll try to put up a short list with random questions which I will answer for you. Please comment below if you have any questions to me.

What was the last thing you took a picture of?
That was today: a pic of a very awesome postcard I received from Russia. I had to take a pic of it and send it to my fiancé, because this card really is the master of all postcards. With my digital camera I took some pictures of the Japanese Candy from NapaJapan - which I am gonna review in a later blogpost.

Do you like the smell of rain?
Yes, I love the smell of rain - it's refreshing.

What were you doing today at 2:15 in the afternoon?
I went into town with my brother Lars, to do some shopping and to watch the arrival of 'Sinterklaas'.

When was the last time someone took a picture of you?
The weekend in London 2 weeks ago, my bestie took some typical tourist pics of me. Funn :)

Do you have any advice for people who are bored or feel lonely?
Postcrossing & Swap-Bot, absolutely! Sometimes you can feel so lonely and not in the mood to socialize - but a perfect way to get out of that is to craft something creative, or to prepare and send out postcards and swaps to other people in the world. Maybe you even meet a new penpal!

Have you ever made a journey where you did something nice for a stranger, or helped him/her out?
Well, I helped someone with her suitcase in the train once, and I remember sharing chocolates with co-passengers on the nighttrain from Copenhagen to Arnhem. And right when I arrived in Copenhagen for the first time ever, someone asked me if I knew which train was going to Sweden - so I told him what I just saw on the first best sign, and they made their train. Haha.

Describe your ultimate moment of relaxation.
A free weekend, rain outside and good food inside. I'll be chillaxing on the couch with a blanket, pineapple-lemon tea and selfbaked blueberry muffins. Probably reading a good book or watching tv. Or just hanging with my phone, playing HayDay or chess.

If you could choose three songs for your funeral, which ones would it be?
Hehe, a bit of a weird thing to think about, but I'd say 'Our Farewell' from Within Temptation, because I've always loved that song somehow. And second: Comptine d'un autre été, because I used to play that song a lot on the piano. Third: Harry Potter - Harry's Wonderous World, because it's my favourite movie, and the sonds are magical.

Would you ever donate an organ to someone, and to who?
Hahaha, never really thought about this. I think I would donate, but only to my closest family: parents, siblings and fiancé ofcourse.

When you go to McDonald's, what drink do you usually get?
I wish I could drink their milkshakes, but since I'm lactose-intolerant, I stick to coke - although there's way too much sugar in it, in my opinion. Actually, I'm not a fan of McDonald's. I'd much rather get a good coffee and a bagel.
